Week 6 Reflection

For the past two weeks we looked at two different concepts Copyright and Makerspace

When I first looked through the copyright domain, for me it was partly a refresher course as some of the material I had already seen. But what interested me the most the a video course that was given as part of an assignment. This video course was a great way to test how much we have learned through the domain. When the video course provided quizzes. The material is still so interesting even though I have gone through some of the material previously. One thing that definitely stayed with me though was, when using someones work when using the correct permissions to use the work is like asking politely to use the work. Which seems ethical.

The makerspace approach seems interesting for elementary schools as students would possibly be more intrigued about learning. The makerspace approach sounds interesting in a way that students can gather to make and create. I would see that students can possibly more interested in this type of learning versus sitting in a classroom listening to the teacher lecture. Students can gain many skills such as technological, building, and problem solving amongst other skills.

So far, I have noticed that the approaches we have been learning through the course of the class, seem far more interesting and effective to implement in a classroom.
